Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., together with Uniwise Offshore Co., Ltd. and Marsun Shipyard, celebrated the naming ceremony of the new crew transfer vessel,
“Uniwise Commander” an innovative trimaran designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability in transporting personnel to Chevron’s offshore petroleum production facilities in the Gulf of Thailand.
The “Uniwise Commander” is capable of reducing travel time by up to 30%, while providing greater stability and enhanced safety during operations. This marks the first deployment of trimaran vessel technology in Thailand’s petroleum industry.
